Butter & Salt was created by the owners of a fine dining restaurant in Surrey, BC, who wanted to bring their food craft and wine expertise to a wider audience through event catering. The aim was to move well beyond the usual expectations of catering; not sandwich platters, shrimp cocktail or generic event food, but something more refined and carefully considered.

Built around small gatherings and social events, the brand focuses on creative, canapé-led menus rooted in classic French technique and shaped by the best local ingredients. It’s catering with a restaurant-level point of view: intimate, polished and made for people who care about what they serve.
